Name	The Albany Hotel/Holiday Inn

Designed by architects James A. Roberts, like John Madin's, they were another firm that would play an important role in the re-shaping of Birmingham.  The Albany Hotel was completed in 1962.  Fifty years on, the building was still a hotel but had been a Holiday Inn for many years.  However, in a nod to past history, the renamed hotel did contain 'The Albany Restaurant'.
