Berkswell and Balsall Common Station

This station survives today and is called Berkswell. It is on the line between Birmingham and Coventry.

Still looking east, this picture was taken from the footbridge visible in the picture above. Just beyond the small sidings is the branch line to Kenilworth that no longer exists.

This scene is a familiar one to me - I used to have my car serviced at the garage that now exists to the right of the shot! Not much has changed with the Railway Inn still surviving and the odd combination of a level crossing and low bridge still in use.
