Studley and Astwood Bank Station

Studley and Astwood Bank station was opened in 1868 and continued to operate until the 1960's.  A useful history of the line can be found on the Subterranea Britannica site.  More information on the station itself is available on Rail Around Birmingham.

The station lay to the west of Studley and this view is from a road bridge looking north towards Redditch.  Note the station building, the goods shed and the signal box.
