New Street Station at Work
The
New Street Station page in the
Birmingham section was created to show my
father's photo's of the station as it was redeveloped during the
1960's. However, he was clearly a big Midland fan and many of his
excursions started and ended at New Street. Seemingly always
ready to capture an interesting shot, the collection contains many
pictures of New Street taken from the late 1940's upto the early
1960's. On these pages I've tried to pick out some of the best
ones and the ones that show various parts of the station itself.
